'Safe at home' lunch and learn sessions

GreenSquare will be delivering presentations and activities to Oxfordshire customers at Blackbird Leys next week (28 March) on staying safe in their home.

The free ‘lunch and learn’ session is supported by Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, Oxfordshire County Council and local Police Community Support Officers.

Covering a variety of topics from fire and electrical safety, to online safety and being aware of scams, the session will take place on Thursday 28 March at The Barn, Long Ground in Blackbird Leys from 10.30am to 1.30pm.

Customers who want to come along are encouraged to book their place by filling in the form online at: tinyurl.com/staysafegreensquare or by calling 01249 465465 (and mentioning ‘Stay safe at home – Oxford’).

There will be a fire engine at the session, with a chance to meet the crew. Attendees will also get the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win shopping vouchers!

GreenSquare held a ‘Stay safe at home’ session for Wiltshire customers last month (7 February) in Chippenham, which was in partnership with the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service and the charity Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust (Stay Safe Online project).
