Residents across North Oxfordshire will be able to find out more about tackling debt at a series of events on offer during national Debt Awareness Week 2015.
From 26-30 January, staff from local organisations including GreenSquare, will be on hand to offer information at free sessions in Banbury, Bicester, Witney and Kidlington.

Wednesday 28 January 10am-2pm Bicester - The Studio Café, Crown Walk
Thursday 29 January 10am-2pm Banbury - Banbury Market
Friday 30 January 2-4pm Banbury - The Sunshine Centre, Bretch Hill
Members of the local community can drop in to speak with professionals, as well as access free online resources with an opportunity to enter a £50 prize draw in each town.
Veronica RydhSmith, Community Involvement Officer at GreenSquare, said: “Debt Awareness Week aims to raise the profile of the organisations that are available in Oxfordshire, who can help people recognise the signs of debt and take positive action to tackle it. We hope residents in the area come along and really make the most of the sessions.”
Barbara Shaw, Chief Executive of Banbury and Witney Citizens Advice Bureaux added: “January is the busiest time of year for CAB with clients coming in for debt advice. Help get your finances in hand in the new year and if you need advice, come along to one of our sessions.”
