Your chance to learn basic computer skills

Are you completely new to computers? Are you keen to get online but aren’t sure how? Or perhaps you’d like to learn some new skills?

GreenSquare is holding basic computer drop-in sessions for people in the White City area of Gloucester, who are looking to learn more about using computers and making the most of being online.

The free sessions are open to everyone and are taking place every other Wednesday from 10am until 12 noon in the communal lounge at Dickens Close. Upcoming dates include: 11 and 25 November; 9 and 23 December; and 6 and 20 January (2016).

Alex Lodge, Community Involvement Officer at GreenSquare, said: “These sessions are a great way to boost your confidence using computers or other devices like tablets or smart phones.

“You can bring along your own device and we can show you how to use it. We can give people help and advice on how to access housing services online; using internet and emails; and help people to get connected using social media and skype.

“If you don’t have your own laptop or device, we can show you the basics on one of ours.”
