Wiltshire Money, the financial inclusion partnership, is holding its strategic conference in December and has invited local stakeholders to come along and find out more about its work across the county.
The conference is taking place at the Assembly Rooms in Devizes on Wednesday 4 December 2013 from 9:15am until 10:30am.
At the event, stakeholders and representatives from local businesses will be finding out more about Wiltshire Money; the issues faced by people on low incomes in Wiltshire; and how the partnership can support those who provide advice on basic banking, affordable credit, financial education, fuel poverty and dealing with debt. It will also look at how all partners can have a role to play in working together to make Wiltshire a safer and more prosperous place to live and work.
Suzanne Wigmore, Chair of Wiltshire Money and Welfare Reform Project Manager at GreenSquare Group, said: “With the launch of our new strategic plan we will be working even more closely with more partners across Wiltshire, and taking a longer term view of the challenges that some of our residents face."
Wiltshire Money is a collaboration of local organisation, who are committed to tackling financial inclusion and helping people who are in financial difficulty.
