Tidestone is short listed for LABC excellence awards

Tidestone, GreenSquare's construction arm, has been short listed in the 2012 West of England LABC excellence awards for their 43-home development at Pound mead in Corsham, in the Best Social/Affordable Housing category. Having won this category for their development at Curzon Street Calne in 2011, the team will be back to defend their title at the awards ceremony on the 21 June.

"We are delighted to have been short listed again," said Ernie Randell, Tidestone Construction Manager. "It really demonstrates how successfully Tidestone has established itself in a relatively short space of time."

The Local Authority Building Control (LABC) excellence awards are all about excellence achieved through building standards, technical innovation, and sustainable designs. Finalists are not judged on architectural beauty, but on the "Excellence" shown from a construction and technical building control point of view. LABC teams are involved with all types of schemes from small domestic extensions through to multi-million pound commercial buildings. They are there to guide and assist in compliance with the Building Regulations.
