Two site managers at GreenSquare Homes have been presented with their certificates after each winning a Quality Award from the National House Building Council (NHBC).
Nick Cunningham, regional director south west for the NHBC, recently attended a celebration event at Hares Chase in Cricklade, a 70-home development from GreenSquare Homes.
He presented site managers Martin Bance and Paul Edwards with their award certificates. The Quality Awards are part of the NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards 2019. Now in its 39th year, the Awards are the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry.
Martin and Paul each won an award for their management of Hares Chase and Blunsdon Meadow, another development of 52 homes in Swindon.
In attendance at the event were Chair of Cricklade Town Council Cllr Mark Clarke and Cllr Bob Jones, also of Wiltshire County Council.
Barry Wood, managing director for development at GreenSquare Homes, said: “The event was a great way to celebrate the achievements of Paul and Martin and their teams, and we were pleased that Nick from the NHBC was able to come and present the awards.
“The NHBC awards are the driving force behind improving standards of housebuilding. Across Wiltshire, five site managers are receiving Pride in the Job Awards this year and to have two of them from GreenSquare Homes really demonstrates our commitment to producing quality homes for our customers.”
Martin and Paul will go on to compete for Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards, with the Supreme Award winners unveiled at a gala ceremony in January 2020.
GreenSquare Homes is the in-house development arm of GreenSquare Group. Profits from selling new homes are used to support growth to ensure the Group’s ability to build more affordable homes for a range of customers across the South West.
