Local residents had the chance to view GreenSquare's proposals to build 35 new homes Chippenham at a consultation event last week (Thursday 14 September).
GreenSquare is proposing to build 35 affordable homes on land at Middlefields, just off Hungerdown Lane in the town, including 25 houses and 10 flats – which will be a mix of properties for affordable rent and shared ownership.
Also on the site and alongside the residential development, Lidl – the supermarket chain – is proposing to build a food store with associated car parking.
At the public consultation event, which took place at Chippenham Sports Club, local residents were able to look at plans for the proposed scheme and chat to members of both Lidl’s and GreenSquare’s development teams, who were on hand to answer questions.
A planning application will shortly be submitted this week to Wiltshire Council. To view the plans that were displayed at the consultation event, click here.
