Residents in Chippenham are invited to view GreenSquare's plans to build new homes in the area, at a public consultation event in May.
GreenSquare is proposing to develop land at Methuen Park in Chippenham to build around 60 new houses for sale, affordable rent and low cost home ownership.
The consultation event is taking place on Wednesday 18 May from 3.30pm until 7pm at Kingsley Road Community Hall SN14 0AS. Local people who are interested in finding out more about the plans will be able to speak to members of staff from GreenSquare, including their in-house architects, who are working on the proposals.
John Owen, GreenSquare's Development Manager, will be on hand at the event. He said: "Our hope is to gain approval from Wiltshire Council to be able to use the land to build around 60 new homes to help meet the local housing – particularly affordable housing – need.
“We’ve worked closely with planning agency Tetlow King Planning to develop our plans. This consultation event is the perfect opportunity for people to find out more, including the proposed layout of the development.
"We hope that people come along and let us know their thoughts, so that we can take the feedback into consideration as we shape our proposals further, ahead of submitting a planning application to the Council."
