Hundreds of prospective homebuyers attended the new show home launch last weekend, at Applewood in Stroud – the development on the site of the former Cashes Green Hospital.
The development built by Haboakus – the joint venture between GreenSquare and Kevin McCloud’s company Hab – comprises 78 new homes: 21 four-bedroom houses, 29 three-bedroom houses, 14 two-bedroom houses, 8 two-bedroom apartments and 6 one-bedroom apartments.
At the show home launch event, visitors including neighbours, councillors and potential future residents had the chance to view a three-bed semi-detached show home and find out more about the whole development. Kevin McCloud also attended the event and chatted with local people interested in the new homes.
Rodger Shipway, GreenSquare’s Marketing and Sales Manager and Hayley Ody, New Homes Sales Manager, organised the event with GreenSquare and Hab colleagues and were pleased with the results. Hayley said: “After a lot of planning and hard work, we are delighted to say that the event went really well – it was great to see a good few hundred visitors through the door! We have already had three reservations from people eager to buy a property on the site, which is exactly the outcome we hoped for.”
Rodger added: “This development is on a beautiful site, rich in plants, trees and wildlife, and surrounded by views of rolling hills. It’s in a fantastic location close to the heart of Stroud, so it is little surprise that people are already keen to reserve a property on the site.”
