GreenSquare wins new support contracts in Wiltshire

We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in winning two support service contracts in Wiltshire.

Before Christmas, GreenSquare finalised the purchase of Garden Court in Calne from Bromford housing association. Garden Court is a young family scheme offering nine self-contained flats for couples or single parents with young children, or pregnant women, who are vulnerable, homeless or threatened with homelessness.

The support contract for Garden Court, as well as the contract for Newburn House, our existing mother and baby unit in Wiltshire, was due to end in March. Following a detailed tender process, we are delighted to announce that we have won a new three-year contract (with a possible two-year extension) to continue running both Garden Court and Newburn House.

Alongside our long term partners Splitz Support Service, we have also been successful in winning the county-wide domestic abuse support contract for Wiltshire. Splitz will be the main provider of these services, with GreenSquare as a subcontractor. This means GreenSquare will continue to run our two Wiltshire-based women's refuges and 10 self-contained flats which are places of safety.

Martin Mellors, GreenSquare's head of supported housing, said: "We are looking forward to continuing to provide high quality support services in Wiltshire, something that we have done for many years."
