GreenSquare has recently signed the lease on an industrial unit in Royal Wootton Bassett, which will become a new operational base for its Wiltshire-based trades team.
The new base will become a central location for equipment storage. It will benefit from onsite van washing facilities; a larger space to hold team meetings; and enable waste management to be in one location.
Ken Neale, GreenSquare's Head of Operations, explained: "Having this new base will help us to provide greater support to our trades operatives, and will provide much better value for money – with us no longer having to operate out of multiple units across the county.
"As well as all the other benefits that this new centrally-located site offers, we are excited to be setting up a training facility there too. This will enable us to support and up-skill our trade staff to help us continue to deliver a simply brilliant repairs service to our customers.
"We are currently in the process of getting everything ready at the unit, with plans to officially open the new base around Christmas time."
GreenSquare's trades teams carry out around 30,000 repairs a year across the organisation's geography (Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire).
