GreenSquare is now offering a confidential, out of hours Freephone line, which enables residents to immediately report any incidents of antisocial behaviour.
The ASB Respect Line is an out of hours service that is available between 5pm and 9am Monday to Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday (including bank holidays). It is a national helpline service run by dedicated call handling staff, who are fully trained to take details of the incident from the caller and give appropriate advice where necessary.
Sue Burnett, Antisocial Behaviour Officer at GreenSquare, said: “The majority of incidents of ASB tend to happen outside of the normal 9-5 working day, so this Freephone number will provide an invaluable service for any residents who would like to report an incident in their community straight away, no matter what time it is.
“Any information that is received by the Respect Line will be passed, in confidence, on to the Neighbourhood team here at GreenSquare, who will then look at taking the appropriate action.”
The Freephone number is 0800 075 66 99. GreenSquare is trialling the service until the end of March 2014, at which point it will be reviewed and a decision will be made whether to continue the service.
If you would like to report antisocial behaviour in your community during normal working hours (Monday – Friday, 9am until 5pm), please call the GreenSquare contact centre on 01249 465 465 (Avon and Marden) or 0800 980 9272 (Isis). To report an incident out of hours, please call the ASB Respect Line on 0800 075 66 99.
