GreenSquare has completed 11 new homes at Parklands in Chippenham after a successful redevelopment of the area.
GreenSquare started work to bring Parklands back to life last May (2016), when it demolished the 1960s extensions at the site, and has completed one two-bedroom coach house and six three-bedroom houses for outright sale in their place.
Also at the site, GreenSquare has finished refurbishing four one-bedroom existing bungalows for shared ownership.
The new homes are set in one of the most established locations in Chippenham, concealed behind the former St Paul's Rectory - a Victorian Grade II listed building - at the edge of John Coles Park. Prior to GreenSquare's redevelopment of Parklands, the site had been at risk of falling into disrepair, having been empty for several years.
Rodger Shipway, GreenSquare's Marketing and Sales Manager, said: “It’s been exciting watching these new high quality homes being built. Parklands is in a really great location, so we know they will make fantastic homes for families wishing to live in the Chippenham area.”
All of the properties at the site have now been reserved and will be handed over to their new residents this week.
Rodger continued: “We have been pleased to be able to offer a mix of sale and shared ownership homes at the development, giving first-time buyers the chance to get on the property ladder. Given their location and quality, we’re not surprised that all the properties have sold so quickly.
“We’re looking forward to seeing the residents move in and really make the homes their own.”
All of the houses are built to the latest standards with efficient central heating and insulation. The designs are modern, but compliment their environment with the use of cedar cladding, attractive facades and timber windows.
The former Rectory is being sold with planning permission to convert the building into four flats.
