Residents of Rose Hill are invited to a free community breakfast on Thursday, 27 June, where they will have the chance to talk to experts about matters relating to benefits and money management.
The breakfast is taking place at Rose Hill Children’s Centre, located at The Oval, from 8:45am onwards. Representatives from GreenSquare’s Welfare Reform team will be attending the event, as well as an adviser from the children’s centre, and specialists from Rose Hill and Donnington’s Advice Centre.
Children are welcome, and can come along and have fun at the ‘drop in and play’ session whilst parents talk to the experts.
Suzanne Wigmore, Welfare Reform Project Manager, said: “We hope that as many residents as possible come along and have a chat with us about any money worries they might have or any queries relating to benefit changes. All discussions are private – we are here to help people to understand the changes that are taking place and how they might be affected by them.”
Fran Gardner, Rose Hill Community Worker, added: “This is a fantastic opportunity for residents to receive confidential, expert advice from a range of specialists, and enjoy a tasty breakfast as well.”
