Shared ownership

Shared ownership is a scheme designed to help you buy a home of your own. It’s an ideal option for people who cannot afford to buy a property outright because you buy a share in a property and pay a subsidised rent on the rest of it.

You have the same rights and responsibilities as any other homeowner, and you can gradually buy more shares if you want to.

A GreenSquareAccord resident talks about the benefits of shared ownership at her new Trowbridge home.
