What is GreenSquare?

GreenSquare Group is a pioneering housing, regeneration, and social investment agency working throughout Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, and Gloucestershire and surrounding areas with offices in Gloucester, Swindon, Oxford, and Chippenham. There’s more information here.

What’s a Housing Association?

Housing Association is a common term for the 2000 or so independent, not-for-profit organisations registered with and regulated by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

How do I become a resident?

There are several ways you can become a GreenSquare resident. Full details of how to apply for housing are here.

How do I pay my rent?

You can pay your rent by Direct Debit, at a Post Office, over the Internet, by phone with a debit or credit card, at any “PayPoint”, or through Housing Benefit. Full details are here.

How can I get something repaired?

GreenSquare has a planned maintenance programme. You can find out whether your street is part of the current phase by clicking here. You can book repairs on the Web site by clicking here.

What can I do if I have money problems?

What can I do about nuisance neighbours or antisocial behaviour?

Can I buy part of a house?

New Build HomeBuy, which is also known as shared ownership, is a scheme allowing residents to part buy and part rent their property. More information about what’s available from GreenSquare can be found here.

Does GreenSquare provide sheltered housing?

GreenSquare owns and manages homes for people aged 55 or over; this accommodation provides a safe and secure environment for residents whilst promoting independent living. For more information, click here.

Does GreenSquare work with its residents?

GreenSquare wants its homes to be based in strong and stable communities where residents want to live. To help that happen, it works with residents and other organisations to support a range of community development projects. There’s more information here.
