Student lettings

All of our student lets are in the centre of Bristol in Corn Street. We have a single block of 10 flats with between two and five bedrooms in each flat. All flats have individual single rooms with a shared lounge, kitchen and bathroom. We produce the relevant documents, collect rent and deposits, and perform regular inspections including check in/check out visits.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can non-students rent a flat?
Sorry but all students must be enrolled into University or going to be enrolled into University to live in our student accommodation. Please note any final year students will be liable for Council Tax once they no longer a student.

How much is the deposit?
The deposit is £400 and is to be paid approximately two months before the tenancy is due to commence.

How much are the fees?
An admin fee of £30 is charged to cover the costs of preparation of the tenancy.
We charge a £100 holding fee when you agree to take your room (£50 non-refundable, if you decide not to proceed). This £100 holding fee is part of the £400 deposit. 

When does the tenancy start
Tenancy start dates are flexible as it depends on when the previous tenants are moving out. We look to work with new and existing tenant to find a mutually agreeable date, where possible.

How long is the tenancy?
All of our student tenancy’s are 12 months long, however if you wish to extend your tenancy for another 12 months this may be possible. 

Are bills included?
As with many private student flats and houses, electric and phone line/internet bills are not included in the rental price. We do however include water in the rental price. 

What’s included in the flat?
All flats come with kitchen white goods; they all have at least one fridge and a cooker and hob. A washing machine is not providedbut space is provided to allow you to bring your own if you wish.

What’s included in the bedrooms?
All bedrooms have a bed, desk, wardrobe and a side table or chest of draws. Curtains and lamp shades are also provided.

Do I need a UK Guarantor?
No, we don’t require a UK guarantor.

How do I pay my rent?
We offer Direct Debit services (Monthly and Quarterly) to make paying your rent easier and hassle free.

I have been locked out of my flat, who do I contact?
During Office Hours (9am to 5pm Monday – Friday): Please call us on 01249 466006.

For Access Out of Hours: Please call BSPM on 0845 3014130. (They will only allow access, but not issue a replacement key) (Please note there is a £50 charge incurred for BSPM allowing access).

Replacement keys start at £30 plus courier costs, and are only available during office opening hours.
